Newclose Cricket Ground's Members Benefits.

Welcome to our Members Benefits Page in partnership with Thinking Finance UK Limited.

The object of this page is to give you the member a chance to review your financial situation with a local company who is working in partnership with your club.

Newclose Cricket Club has made a business arrangement for the benefit of the club and its members, so that if any member takes out a financial product with Thinking Finance a percentage of the money generated will be passed back to the club via the member.

The member will then be donating the money to the club by way of a gift aid and attract a further 25 pence for every £1 donated ( a further 3 pence is available till 5th April 2011.)

This will be a private process unless the member concerned is happy for his or her details to be released as a donor.

All proceeds from this arrangement will go to support specific events through the club. These will be announced shortly.

Range of products that are available

This just doesn't include new financial arrangements, Thinking Finance can look at existing products you have in place and try and get them cheaper, produce more income/growth, reduce monthly payments.

How Gift Aid Works

Tax relief for charities.

Gift Aid is an easy way to help your charity or CASC maximise the value of its donations, as you can reclaim tax from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on its 'gross' equivalent - its value before tax was deducted at the basic rate. This is 20 per cent from 6 April 2008. You can work out the amount of tax you can reclaim by dividing the amount donated by four. This means that for every £1 donated, you can claim an extra 25 pence. In addition, HMRC will automatically pay your charity or CASC a further three pence for every pound donated. This 'transitional relief' - to adjust to the fall in basic rate tax (from 22 per cent to 20 per cent) - is available on Gift Aid donations made from 6 April 2008 until 5 April 2011. This means that for every £1 donated, your charity or CASC can receive 28 pence, so the total value of the donation is £1.28.
